I am an artist who began photographing nudes when some of my nude art models wanted me to take pictures of them for their own uses. I am not a commercial art photographer with a large studio. I use inexpensive digital cameras. I do not use any special lighting, etc. Most of my shots are with a flash. I post the raw images usually without any Photoshop work. What you see is what I shot. I often do not eliminate the red eye or otherwise clean up the shot. My studio is messy; littered with props and clothes. I take a journalistic approach to my work; a record of my times with the models. I do not sell my images.
I also paint and draw; usually from life, but sometimes I will use the photo images as reference.
I do not spend much time setting up the shot. I do not pose the model. Instead, I prefer to simply observe her and record in a split-second moment what is happening. My photos are a record of our time spent together in the studio, her bedroom, the office building after hours where my studio is located, and other locations. I also video the sessions.
I find that the best shots are the girls expressing themselves in a raw manner; nude and totally honest. I like the retro feel of film noire and pin-ups. Many of the girls I work with channel that feeling. Some have a natural affinity for the look and poses of the pin-up. My pin-ups are messier and more modern with a 21st Century girl attitude: nude and straightforward, strong, fearless, yet very feminine. In a time when porn is more prevalent and available than ever, these girls represent a return to the feminine allure of the the past.
This site is a tribute to the many incredibly wonderful girls I have worked with. I love them all. I have spent so many delightful hours with them, smoking, drinking, discussing their lives and dreams. We have collaborated in Art. They have inspired me, become my muse, and been my closest, dearest friends. They have taught me patience, love, and trust like no others have. They are the finest people on the planet.
So this is a tribute to all the "Jay" girls. I say that because so many mothers named their daughters Jane, Jessica, Julie, Jules, Jenny, Jill, about 20 years ago.

JESSICA: is my soul mate. She is an "Old Soul" by her own admission. (I have known several young girls who are similar.) She is my best friend and fellow deviant. She has taught me so much and is my collaborator in art. Jessica has no concept of time as we know it and lives by her own rules. She is a girl of extreme opposites. I love her. She is over 21. She is completely natural being naked; wearing only her stilettos. She is fearless. She is honest and generous to a fault. She never wears underwear, even with her miniskirts. She is my favorite, but I will continue to post other girls as well.
Here are some comments that I want to post from some Friends of Stiletto Studios.
Victoria:
"Most photographs are documentary - they reveal the truth of the moment."
If you have a model who is carried away by the artfulness of the milieu
within which she is is immersed, it's bound to come through to the
finished photograph."
"Yes, I enjoy being without clothing, and it is a delight to be looked at
and appreciated. I am not a model, in spite of recommendations of my
friends. But it's fun to envision. I can imagine what it would be like
in the artful surroundings of your studio. Very pleasing."
"I think your idea about a book is a good one. There must be many models
and photographers who would be absolutely delighted to read about the
photographic adventures you describe. From a photographer's point of
view you would be chronicling what most would consider the ideal photo
shoot - one where the photographer can concentrate on the artistic
elements of the photographs he wishes to create, with a model who is
enthused and excited by the photographs being taken of her. And from a
model's point of view I think it would be equally appealing and exciting
to her to be given the opportunity to express her beauty and sensuality
for the camera in a safe and appreciative environment. You can see where
the combination of expressive prose and beautiful photographs might
yield an exceptional book."
"I think it's a stroke of genius that you work in the nude. If I was a model I'd love it if the photographer was nude. It seems to me to be both a natural thing to do, and - most important - a gesture of respect for the classic artistic tradition in which you are working."
Here is a comment from fellow artist and Deviant:
"...and, i love the many many (photos) where you are deep in conversation with Jessica....your soulmate, i know. oh, i love having women who are soulmates....i love women, and i love women most when they are at their most natural, as in all your work
and you shoot while naked yourself! how wonderful, how logical, just perfect. god, you live a great life, living in bohemian clutter, naked yourself, surrounded by beautiful, unabashed naked women, creating great art together. man, i aspire to this life, i tell you!!!"
